By train and tram
- Arrival at Magdeburg main station
- Station exit: Willy-Brandt-Platz
- Option 1: Tram stop „Hauptbahnhof“ (currently relocated to Otto-von-Guericke Straße)
- Line 8 in the direction of „Neustädter See“ to the „University“ stop
- Option 2: Turn left on the forecourt. Go as far as the crossroads. Then turn right past the construction site There the tram stop „City Carré
- Take tram line 1 in the direction of „Lerchenwuhne“ or line 8 in the direction of „Neustädter See“ and get off at „University“.
- Get off at „University“ (directly after: „Opernhaus“)
- Walk straight on and across the campus
- Cross a cross street with coloured footprints on the ground.
- Follow your nose until you reach the Mensa. (The bizarre building on the right is the library).
- Pass the Mensa on the right.
- Turn left at the end of the street
- The building you are walking towards is dormitory 1.
- On the right side of dormitory 1 there is a path leading down to the basement.
- If the door is closed, ring the bell
- If the door is open, go inside and turn left in the corridor.
- The StuRa conference room is on the right-hand side.
By train and foot
- Arrival at Magdeburg main station
- Station exit: „Willy-Brandt-Platz“ (stairs with the McDonalds logo).
- Turn left on the forecourt. Go to the cross street („Ernst-Reuter-Allee“).
- Turn right at the crossroads until you reach the first major intersection.
- Turn left into „Otto-von-Guericke-Straße“.
- Follow the road until you reach „Universitätsplatz“ (oversized roundabout).
- Walk around the roundabout on the left-hand side.
- Turn right at the tram stop „Universität“ and enter the campus on the other side of the street.
- Walk straight ahead across the campus.
- Cross a street with coloured footprints on the ground.
- Follow your nose until you come to the Mensa. (The bizarre building on the right is the library).
- Pass the Mensa on the right.
- Turn left at the end of the street.
- The building you are walking towards is dormitory 1.
- On the right side of dormitory 1 there is a path leading down to the basement.
- If the door is closed, ring the bell
- If the door is open, go inside and turn left in the corridor.
- The StuRa conference room is on the right-hand side.
By car
- Use the navigation system to get to „Hohepfortestraße 40, 39106 Magdeburg“ and park.
- This is dormitory 1. The entrances are at the back.
- There is a path leading to the basement.
- If the door is closed, ring the bell
- If the door is open, go inside and turn left in the corridor.
- The StuRa conference room is on the right-hand side.
