Die Wahl hat Ergebnisse …

By | June 18, 2012

The temporary results of the committee’s elections 2012 are now public. The results show that voting can make a change. RCDS and SEKT, the FWW faculty’s list, are the ones improving their status. The two strongest groups in the last period, the GHG and the L.-Ing., are the losers of the elections. But the GHG still remains the most powerful group. The proportionate distribution of two seats per group promises an exciting and interesting legislation 2012/13 with an intense and fruitful exchange of ideas and visions.

We are thanking all of you who voted. Except you belong to the 80% that didn’t vote. That is a condition we can no longer accept. We’ll make it a main issue of the next legislation to find ways of increasing the turnout. To achieve that aim it is important to make the university’s policies and representation of the student’s interests more interesting and open to all. We are looking forward to getting your useful tips and critics as well as your commitment.

On july 5th the new Students Council constitutes itself for the next legislation 2012/2013. At this meeting, being held in the premises of the senate, the new speakers, representatives, and commissioners will be elected. The election of the new speakers is always very exciting. To become a representative or commissioner, also students that are not in a list or elected into the Stura can apply. If you want to be committed at our university, contact us via stura@ovgu.de.

All of the students are herewith invited to come to our next constitutive meeting on July 5th, starting at 7pm. Prior to that at 5pm we will hold the last meeting of the legislation 2011/2012. This meeting is usually used by the speakers to resume the past legislation.
